Goro ramen menu6/7/2023 ![]() Our server was really friendly and forthcoming, and made sure that we were comfortable. The restaurant isn’t overly loud or quiet, so it’s a nice place for a casual meal, or for a get-together, or even for a casual date! There are a lot of seating so you probably wouldn’t need to wait to be seated. ![]() It’s located along Stephen Avenue in Downtown Calgary, so it’s very accessible by public transit.ĪTMOSPHERE: Nice. Goro + Gun is located on the 2nd floor of Scotia Centre, connected to The Core. The drinks were excellent, especially the cheap Sapporo beer! □ĪCCESSIBILITY: Easy. My friends, however, liked their ramen sliders, chicken teppanyaki and poke bowl. My tempura and edamame were pretty standard as with other Japanese eateries, so it’s nothing special. The ramens are ~$15 each, but they have an amazing happy hour menu all for $5 each! The prices at Goro + Gun are not the cheapest, but also aren’t overly expensive. Goro + Gun has a pretty big happy hour menu, but you MUST try their house-made ramen! Well, there’s always a next time. □įor solo eaters, you can go to the bar and sushi bar and even watch the game (they have TVs)! Busy happy hour. The restaurant is pretty big, and there are tons of seating, including booths and large community tables, which is perfect for parties and casual get-togethers. □ Next time, I shall try their ramens since that’s what Goro + Gun is most popular for. Goro Ramen is a small, contemporary Japanese noodle house & bar offering a variety of ramen, plus patio seating. Unfortunately, the only vegetarian items on the menu were the tempura and edamame. For drinks, we had the Sapporo beer, and house red & white wine! Chicken teppanyaki. In this visit to Goro + Gun, we decided to check out their happy hour menu, which were all $5 (even the drinks)! We ordered the veggie tempura, edamame, ramen sliders, chicken teppanyaki and poke bowl. It’s a small role we play in helping with the national #LaoFoodMovement.Goro + Gun (Goro and Gun) apparently serves one of the best ramens in Calgary, but also has a pretty mean happy hour menu!
